For his nearly 40 years of legal practice, Michael C. Sasso has devoted himself to civil litigation with special emphasis on complex commercial litigation and construction law. He also has significant experience in probate, trust, and fiduciary litigation.

Mr. Sasso represents several governmental bodies in the Central Florida area on construction-related matters. His clients also include businesses, individuals, property owners, as well as general, roofing, electrical, HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, pool/spa, glass, utility and excavation, contractors.

In 2022, Governor Ron DeSantis appointed Mr. Sasso to the Construction Industry Licensing Board. Mr. Sasso has been Board Certified in Construction Law by the Florida Bar Board of Legal Specialization and Education since 2005. He is the past Chair of the Construction Law Board Certification Committee of the Florida Bar.

In 2021, Governor Ron DeSantis re-appointed Mr. Sasso to the Judicial Nominating Commission, Fifth District Court of Appeal. He was previously appointed by Governor Rick Scott in 2012 and has served continuously. He chaired this commission for eight (8) years. The Judicial Nominating Commission is responsible for the selection of nominees to fill judicial vacancies and investigation of each applicant for recommendations to the Governor.

Mr. Sasso is the past President of the Seminole County Bar Association and the Seminole Inn of Court. Since 1988, Mr. Sasso has been General Counsel to the Central Florida Chapter of the Associated Builders and Contractors. He has also served as Chairman of the American Arbitration Association’s Central and Northern Florida Advisory Council. He has earned the highest possible rating from his peers, AV, in the Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings.
